Meet our Pastor

It is such a joy to be your new pastor: Rebecca and I are tickled to be here! Calvert City is a wonderfully friendly town and our church clearly reflects that open-heartedness. We look ahead to our future together at CCUMC, anticipating a year filled with the joy of new friends, new places, and new adventures and also the challenges and difficulties that lead to growth. Many folks have asked about our family. We have two adult children, both married. Our son Richard and his wife Julia live in Nashville. He is in the hotel/resort business and she is in medical communication. Our daughter Samantha and her husband Eric live in Madisonville TN. She runs a plasma center in Knoxville and he is the executive chef at Tennessee Wesley in Athens TN. They have two children, Oliver who is almost 4, and Lydia, almost 1. Rebecca has retired from being a music teacher in TN and exploring her options these days, including spending as much time as possible with Ollie and Lydia. Our family, despite geography, is close and loving.
